In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Come O Holy Ghost, fill the hearts of the faithful, and enkindle in them the fire of thy love.

O God, who by the light of the Holy Ghost, didst instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that in the same spirit we may be truly wise, and ever rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

THE APOSTLES’ CREED

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

(In her second apparition at Fatima, June 13, 1917, our Lady taught three shepherd children to add this invocation after each decade of the Rosary.)

P.S.      The CATENA is said after the proclamation of each mystery. When saying five decades of the Rosary, 2 Catenas are said with each mystery, 1 Catena is said before ‘Hail Holy Queen’ and one after the ‘litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary’; a total of Twelve Catenas. When reciting the whole 20 decades of the rosary, a single Catena is said with each mystery and just before the ‘Hail Holy Queen’, with 3 more Catenas recited at the end of the Litany along with its concluding prayers; a total of Twenty-four Catenas.

THE JOYFUL MYSTERIES

(Said on Mondays and Saturdays, the Sundays of Advent, and Sundays from Epiphany till lent.)

1. The Annunciation (For the love of humility)

MARY, you are the vessel and tabernacle containing all mysteries. You know what the Patriarchs never knew; you have experienced what was never revealed to the Angels; you have heard what the Prophets never heard. In a word, all that was hidden from preceding generations was made known to you; even more, most of these wonders depended on YOU.

2. The Visitation (For charity toward my neighbour)

WHEN God in His mercy was pleased to dwell among us, you alone, O Mary, were privileged to offer the King of kings and the Lord of lords a worthy dwelling in your virginal abode. Truly even God was delighted to remain with you. Rejoice, Virgin most blessed, Mother undefiled, all shall call you blessed. Mary, the whole world reveres you as the holiest Shrine of the living God, for in you the salvation of the world saw its dawning. The Son of God was pleased to take human form from you. You have broken down the wall of hatred, the barrier between heaven and earth which was set up by man’s first disobedience. In you heaven met earth when divinity and humanity were joined in one Person, the God-Man. Mother of God, we sing your praises, but we must praise you even more. Our speech is too feeble to honor you as we ought, for no tongue is eloquent enough to express your excellence. Mary, most powerful, most holy, worthy of all love! Your name brings new life, and the thought of you arouses love in the hearts of those who are devoted to you.

THE SORROWFUL MYSTERIES WITH THE FIFTEEN SECRET TORTURES AND SUFFERING OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST: (REVEALED TO SISTER MARY MAGDALENE OF SANCTA CLARA)

(Said on Tuesdays and Fridays throughout the year; and daily from Ash Wednesday until Easter Sunday)

1. Agony in the Garden (For true repentance for my sins)
2. They fastened My feet with a rope and dragged Me over the stepping stones of the staircase, down into a filthy, nauseating cellar.
3. They took off My clothing and stung My body with iron joints.

iii.    They attached a rope around My body and pulled Me on the ground from end to end.

1. They hanged Me on a wooden piece with a slip knot until I slipped out and fell down. Overwhelmed by this torture, I wept bloody tears.
2. Scourging at the Pillar (For a spirit of mortification)
3. They tied Me to a post and pierced My body with various arms.
4. They struck Me with stones and burnt Me with blazing embers and torches.

vii.   They pierced Me with awls; sharp spears tore My skin, flesh and arteries out of My body.

viii.  They tied Me to a post and made Me stand barefoot on an incandescent metal sheet.

3. Crowning with Thorns (For moral courage)
4. They crowned Me with an iron crown and wrapped My eyes with the dirtiest possible rags.
5. They made Me sit on a chair covered with sharp pointed nails, causing deep wounds in My body.
6. They poured on My wounds liquid lead and resin and, after this torture, they pressed Me on the nailed chair so that the nails went deeper and deeper into My flesh.

xii.   For shame and affliction, they drove needles into the holes of My uprooted beard. They tied my hands behind My back and led Me walking out of prison with strikes and blows.

4. Carrying of the Cross (for the virtue of patience)

xiii.  They threw Me upon a cross and attached Me so tightly that I could hardly breathe anymore.

xiv.  They threw at My head as I lay on the earth, and they stepped on Me, hurting My breast. Then, taking a thorn from My crown, they drove it into My tongue.

1. They poured into My mouth the most immodest excretions, as they uttered the most infamous expressions about Me.
2. The Crucifixion (For the grace of final perseverance)

My Lord and My God, it is my unchangeable will to honor you in these Fifteen Secret Torments when You shed Your Precious Blood; as many times as there are grains of sand around the seas, as fruit in the orchards, as leaves on the trees, as flowers in the gardens, as stars in the sky, as angels in Heaven, as creatures on earth. So many thousands of times may you be glorified, praised and honored, O Most love-worthy Lord Jesus Christ – Your Holiest Heart, Your Precious Blood, Your Divine Sacrifice for mankind, the Holiest Sacrament of the altar, the Most Holy Virgin Mary, the nine glorious choirs of Angels and the Blessed Phalanx of the Saints, from myself and everyone, now and forever, and in the eternal ages. My loving Mother, through the Precious Blood of your Son shed for me, I beg you to receive me as your servant forever. Aid me in my actions and beg for me the grace never by word or deed or thought to be displeasing in your sight and that of your most holy Son.

CONSECRATION TO SAINT JOSEPH

O Glorious Patriarch and Patron of the Catholic Church! O Virgin Spouse of the Mother of God, and guardian and foster father of the Incarnate Word! In the presence of Jesus and Mary, I choose thee this day to be my guardian and father. O thou whom God has constituted Head of the Holy Family, accept me, I beseech thee, though utterly unworthy, to be a poor little servant in thy holy house. Present me to thy Immaculate Spouse, ask her also to accept me as a servant and to adopt me as a child. Remember, O most pure spouse of Mary, and my dearly beloved guardian, St Joseph, that never was it known that anyone who invoked your care and requested your help was left without consolation.

Glorious Archangel. St. Raphael, prince of the Heavenly court, illustrious by your gifts of wisdom and grace, guide of travellers by land and sea, consoler of the unfortunate and refuge of sinners. I entreat you to help me in all my needs and in all trials of this life, as you once assisted young Tobias in his life journey, and since you are the “physician of God”, I humbly pray you to heal my soul of its many infirmities and my body of the ills that afflict it, if this favour is for my greater good. I ask especially for angelic parity that I may be made fit to be a living temple of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

PRAYER TO MICHAEL, THE ARCHANGEL

Glorious Prince of the Celestial host, O Michael the archangel, defend us in the conflict which we have to sustain against Principalities and powers against the world rulers of darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness on high (Eph. 6: 1 2). Come to the rescue of men who God has created in his image and likeness and whom He has redeemed at a great price, from the tyranny of the devil. It is you whom the Holy Church venerates as her guardian and her protector! You whom the Lord has charged to conduct redeemed souls into heaven. Pray, therefore, the God of peace to subdue satan beneath our feet, that he may no longer retain men captive nor do injury to the Church. Present our prayers to the most high God, that without delay they may draw His mercy down upon us. Seize “the dragon, the old serpent, which is the. devil and satan,” bind him and cast him into the bottomless pit….”that he may no longer seduce the nations (Apoc. 20:20-3). In Jesus name -Amen.

EXORCISM

In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, strengthened by the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of the Blessed Michael, the Archangel, of the Blessed Apostles Peter, Paul and all the Saints, and powerful in the holy authority of our ministry we confidently undertake to repulse the attacks and deceits of the devil.

Cease your audacity, cunning serpent, to delude the human race, to persecute the Church, to torment God’s elect and to sift them as wheat. This is the command made to you by the most high God, with whom in your haughty insolence you still pretend to be equal, the God “who wants all men to be saved and come, to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Tim. 24). He who has built His Church on firm rock and declared that the gates of hell shall not prevail against her, because He dwells with her all days even to the consummation of the ages. (Matt. 28.20).

The hidden virtue of the cross requires it of you as does also the power of the mysteries of the Christian faith. The glorious Mother of God, the Virgin Mary commands you, she who by her humility and from the first moment of her Immaculate Conception crushed your proud head. The faith of the holy apostles Peter and Paul and of the other apostles command you the blood of the martyrs and the pious intercession of all the saints command you. Thus, you crushed dragon, and you wicked legions, we adjure you by the living God, by the true God, by the holy God, by the God “who so loved the world that he delivered his only begotten Son that every soul believing in him might not perish but have life everlasting” (John 3.16). Cease deceiving human creatures and pouring out to them the poison of eternal perdition; cease harming the Church and hindering her liberty: Be gone, satan, inventor and master of all deceit, enemy of man’s salvation. Cede the place to the one, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church acquired by Christ, at the price of his precious blood. Stoop beneath the all-powerful hand of God. Tremble and flee at the invocation of the holy and powerful name of Jesus, this name which causes hell to tremble, this name to which the virtues, powers and dominations of heaven are humbly submissive, this name which the Cherubim and Seraphim praise unceasingly repeating: Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord, the God of Armies.

Prayer For Healing

Jesus, you came because of the sick and the sinful. Therefore, I turn to you and want to ask you to heal my soul and body. You know Jesus that sin tears and rips up the whole human being, that it destroys relations between people and you. But there is no sin and no illness that you cannot drive away with your almighty word. There is no wound you cannot heal: Heal us physically and spiritually Amen.

Mary, you called me to pray for healing. Here, I want to do it now. So I ask you to accompany my prayer with your faith! Pray with me now that I may be worthy of obtaining by prayer the graces for me personally and for others who are sick and infirm, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
